Nintendo to sponsor Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards hosted by John Cena

Switch Propaganda in full force!

Nickelodeon today announced via a Press Release and YouTube video that the Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards will be hosted by none other than John Cena on March 11th from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM EST from USC’s Galen Center in Los Angeles. During their press release Nickelodeon also mentioned the sponsors for their show, listing Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Hot Wheels, Skechers, Toyota, Walmart, and Nintendo among them.

With the Nintendo Switch set to launch on March 3rd and the Kids’ Choice Awards being on March 11th, this is a great way for Nintendo to reach a national audience and bring more awareness to the release of the console.

It also helps that Nintendo and Nickelodeon have something very much in common: they both like getting splattered.

Here is hoping that Nintendo will continue to pull all the stops and intensify their advertising and promoting of the Nintendo Switch, something they struggled with from the very beginning with the Wii U.
