Codemasters responds to possibilities on Switch
DiRT 4 was revealed yesterday for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, with Switch not being part of the consoles. Daily Star Online was able to talk to Darren Hayward, Senior Games Designer at Codemasters, to find out if we can expect a Switch version.
He went on to elaborate how he believes racing games would work on the Switch:
Hopefully once he gets his Switch console, he will realize that the Switch and Joy-Cons actually feature all the same buttons that the other consoles have, when connected together to the Joy-Con Grip or used together, with on on each hand.
It is not clear what he means exactly by “not many inputs” and “super simplified controls”, unless he is talking about analog triggers not being available?
The article has additional information about the other consoles and how the game plays. It can be read here at Daily Star Online.
