To avoid misunderstanding
HORI, responsible for multiple accessories currently being manufactured for the Nintendo Switch is at it again, this time with custom microSD cards. The microSD cards will be available in two different formats, 16GB and 32GB, and will have the Nintendo Switch logo on them to ensure the best possible compatibility.
The card will be available at launch and prices will be:
- 16GB for 2,138 yen (approx. $18 USD)
- 32GB for 3,758 yen (approx. $32 USD)
I personally will be picking up a microSD 200GB card which I hope will last me for the lifetime of the system, as I plan on getting physical copies of the games.
UPDATE2: Forbes link has been removed because they quoted incorrect prices. Article has been updated with prices directly from HORI’s site.
