And potential spoilers don’t stop
UPDATE: It seems to have been just one retailer and not the entirety of Media Markt stores. There is no knowledge of how many copies could have been sold.
With the release of the Nintendo Switch and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild just around the corner, we are all counting the hours until we can pick the system up for ourselves and embark on Link’s newest journey, but it seems that everyday it becomes harder and harder to insulate ourselves from possible spoilers that could ruin our firsthand experience with the game.
Well, that may have just gotten a lot harder.
NinMobileNews is reporting through their Twitter Account that Media Markt, a retailer from the Netherlands, has begun selling copies of Breath of the Wild Wii U early.
With copies of the full game out now in the hand of people other than the press, it could be just a matter of time until specific details about the story start trickling in. This is in addition to reports that the Wii U version of Breath of the Wild had leaked over a week ago, puts in jeopardy our going in blind to play the game.
Be mindful of those who do not want the story spoiled for them.
UPDATE: Fixed text for inaccuracies as to potentially how many people would have access to the game.
