Switch allows purchase of games from other regions hassle-free

Truly a region free console

Thanks to NeoGAF’s own Dystify, it has been confirmed that Nintendo Switch is indeed region free. The way to access the a separate region is to log into that region itself through your eShop:

Not only is that process simple enough, but for those who live in the U.S., you do not have to worry about conversion rates, as the system itself will do the conversion for you and you can pay with your own currency, regardless of what region you are purchasing from.

Generally, there would be lots of complaints about games released specifically for one region and never coming out to others. Namely, how games like Mother 3 never made it out of Japan. This also opens the door for countless Virtual Console games that never made it overseas.

But with the Nintendo Switch, at least, people will have access to all games, regardless of region. The only worry would be if it does support your language.
