The latest Nintendo Direct focusing on the 3DS and the Switch has just come to a close, with a ton of information coming out of it.

First off to start the Switch information train, we were introduced to a brand new character coming to ARMS and she is known as MinMin, with the special ability to kick away attacks as a defensive move. Along with a new character, we were also treated with new ARM abilities and new mini games that allow for you to earn new abilities/ moves. A small teaser was also shown off for a 2v2 player mode, with more info to be shown in the future. ARMS launches on Nintendo Switch on June 16th.C9Pqo2VVwAAIES-

To coincide with the ARMS launch, special edition “ARMS inspired” neon yellow Joy-Con were revealed, sold either separately or with a set.

Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition, including the Super Mario Mash-Up pack, will launch on the eShop on May 11th. Signaling the only major release for May, but is a huge one. The colorful new skins and methods to play is really special, even though it highly resembles the Wii U version.

Next up was quite a surprise, which was Monopoly for Nintendo Switch! They showcased the use of HD rumble to roll the dice, plus a few more regular Monopoly features, but no news on the release date was shown. This version of Monopoly is being published by Ubisoft, so I’m hoping it does well.

Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition was also showcased with Nintendo skins, leading this to be the Ultimate version of an already outstanding title.

Fate/Extella is headed to Switch with the inclusion of more than 30+ DLC outfits included and launches on July 25.

In Disgaea 5, players lead Killia and his tenacious army of rebels on their dark and dangerous path to vengeance. Explore the Netherworlds in Disgaea 5 Complete when the standard and limited editions launch on the Switch this Spring, most importantly on May 23rd.

Sine Mora EX is one of the more interesting shoot-em up’s shown during the Direct, launching this Summer.

PAYDAY 2 is also making its way on to the Switch later this year, an intense four-player action game that has been available on other consoles for quite a while, but it is quite relaxing to know that third parties are attempting to appear on the console!

Play Pac-Man, Galaga, SplatterHouse and a few more retro hits anytime, anywhere, when Namco Museum launches on Nintendo eShop this summer!

And last but certainly not least, we were treated to a few more details on Splatoon2, where the release date and a new game mode were shown. Salmon Run is a four-player experience with huge resemblance to a Horde mode, where the key objective is to destroy oncoming Salmon and capture the Golden Eggs from them to win the mode. Splatoon 2 launches on the Switch this Summer, on July 21st.
