HD Rumble ignites “Inspiration”
In an interview this week with Famitsu and reported by Gematsu, Senran Kagura Procuder Kenichiro Takaki revealed additional details about Shinobi Refle: Senran Kagura for the Nintendo Switch. In it, he described this version of the game as having a “charmingly stupid” story which will be different than before.
Shinobi Refle: Senran Kagura will be aiming for a pure and wholesome story and their main objective will be to convey the character’s feelings through HD rumble.
This particular version of the game will only be available through the Nintendo Switch eShop and will be centered around Asuka, who so far seems as the only playable character. There are hints that this could be a one on one game interacting directly with the main character.
It is also possible that additional characters will be made available later on through DLC, making this a very effective way for Takaki to provide series favorites to their fans.
During the Nintendo Direct which aired last Wednesday worldwide (but was only shown during the Japanese broadcast), Takaki gave us a glimpse at his research for Senran Kagura on Switch, which included a couple of soft and gelatin objects. It is pretty evident that his mischievousness will find its way to the title.
Takaki is aiming for a 2017 release of Shinobi Refle: Senran Kagura on Nintendo Switch.
