Still waiting for NFC purchases

The Nintendo Switch eShop has been finally updated to allow credit cards used to be saved to the system. Instead of inputting your credit card information each time you want to make a purchase, the Nintendo Switch will allow you to save the card information. Next time you go to make a purchase, you should be able to see the ‘Save’ box on the screen where you enter your card info.

Of course, Nintendo still needs to improve on this area, as the Switch does feature a NFC chip on their right Joy-Con for scanning amiibo and this could very well be used in conjunction with Nintendo’s online app, where you could store your credit card information and use it to scan your smartphone on the Joy-Con, much like you would use something like Google Wallet.

But for now, purchases are becoming more streamlined and no longer require you to look for your card each time and enter it.
