It is becoming a trend?
There was a controversy earlier this year about RiME and its pricing on the Nintendo Switch being higher than the price on other consoles, and Greybox is making amends on that end, but now another controversy has been unearthed by Shiggy at NeoGAF.
Minecraft: Story Mode, a game that has been available on other consoles for $29.99, even on the Wii U, but is suddenly being priced at $39.99 for the Nintendo Switch by major retailers. The game itself doesn’t launch until July 18th, so there can certainly be changes to the final price, but with retailers like Best Buy, Amazon, and Gamestop pricing it the same, it is hard to envision it changing.
Is this a trend that we should be worried about on the Nintendo Switch?
