Harvest Moon returns home
Natsume and Rising Star Games revealed today that a new installment on the long-running series Harvest Moon titled ‘Harvest Moon: Light of Hope’ is coming and that it will be launching for the first time on two formats it hadn’t embraced before, PC (surprising) and Switch (understandable).
This is great news for Nintendo farming lovers and fans of the series (or more recently its ‘Story of Seasons’ brethren) because this is one of those type of games that is perfectly suited for the Nintendo Switch, either as a console or handheld game.
No specifics have been given about the game itself or its release date, but Natsume promises the game will be revealed at E3 and will be available in playable form on Switch.
This is the first time Harvest Moon will be embracing a Nintendo home console since last appearing on the Wii. The original Harvest Moon game launched 20 years ago on the SNES.
