More collectibles to empty your pockets
Just when you thought that the demand for toys-to-life games was dying down with the cancellation of Disney Infinity, the year-long break of Skylanders, and the not-so-great sales from Lego Dimensions, Ubisoft proves us wrong.
During their E3 Conference, Ubisoft showcased their very own toys-to-life game titled Starlink: Battle for Atlas.
In Starlink: Battle for Atlas, you are in charge of creating a team of starfighter pilots to protect Atlas against the forces of the Forgotten Legion. How you do this is by assembling together spaceships that you can customize by exchanging their wings, weapons and hull.
Once built, you would hop on those spaceships and traverse through various alien worlds to fend off these evil forces.
The Joy-Con grip enables you to place the stand of the starfighter you will be using in-game, and from there you can customize its wings, weapons, and setup. How many different starfighters and parts will be available is still unknown, but Ubisoft promises numerous variations to how you can build your favorite starfighter.
Starlink: Battle for Atlas is coming to the Nintendo Switch as well as the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in Fall 2018.
