As close as it gets for the West…

With Capcom still hesitant to make any type of announcements for Monster Hunter XX on the west, this might be the best bet for Nintendo Switch owners outside of Japan to experience the game.

For those interested in trying out the demo, here are some details on it:

  • Text is completely in Japanese, so you may need to try different options if you aren’t well-versed in the language until you get to start the game.
  • File size is 1.7 GB
  • Expect parity with 3DS version, meaning 30 fps and higher-res graphics, but don’t expect a big improvement visually.

Because the game is available in Japan only, you will need to create a Japanese account to access their eShop. If you don’t know how to create an account, here at Shigeru News we have created a step-by-step guide on how to do so.

Have fun with the demo and leave your impressions of the game in the comments section!
