Invest in additional memory

With NBA 2K18 being the first game that requires you to have a MicroSD card to download additional data and have access to the full game, people became worried that this would become a common practice with games on the Nintendo Switch.

Now Capcom via their website, states that Resident Evil Revelations 2 will also require a MicroSD card. Before anyone starts to worry too much, this doesn’t come a surprise since Capcom had already stated that the Resident Evil Revelations Collections would contain both Part 1 and Part 2, and that the first game would come in physical format while the second one would be a digital download.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 will require 26GB of HD Space, and with Nintendo Switch’s internal memory sitting at 25.9 GB, it becomes obviously that the game wouldn’t be able to be downloaded to the system and some sort of additional memory is required.

Information from Capcom’s website:

  • Resident Evil Revelations will require 13 GB of HD Space (digital)
  • Resident Evil Revelations 2 will require 26 GB of HD Space (digital)

The website seems to indicate that all DLC content will be included with the game for both games.

  • Resident Evil Revelations – All available DLC included!
  • Resident Evil Revelations 2 – Comes loaded with the main game, extra episodes and add-on content!
