Play Tokyo RPG’s Next
One of the best reasons to own a Nintendo Switch has been its “region-free” format which allows the download of games from different regions. Taking advantage of this has netted U.S. gamers the opportunity to get their hands on games like Dragon Quest Heroes I & II which are still unavailable outside of Japan.
Another reason to take advantage of the region-free format is the release of a demo for Lost Sphear, which is Tokyo RPG Factory’s follow-up to I am Setsuna. This demo can only be accessed through the Japanese Nintendo Switch eShop, so if you are unfamiliar with the process of how to create an account, follow these steps to do so.
Lost Sphear will release on the Nintendo Switch in Japan this October 12th with a world-wide release next January 23rd, which explains why the Japan demo has become available sooner than one for North America or Europe.
