A work in progress…

The Nintendo Switch has been a massive success, collecting universal praise for its hybrid format and marriage of multiple ways to experience a game, but there have been some complaints, although few and far between.

Among those complaints has been the Switch eShop and its bare-bones format which makes it harder to find game that are not among the best-seller list, but with this new update searching for discounted games has been made easier.

Nintendo has added a ‘Games on Sale’ section to the Nintendo Switch eShop which will make it much easier to know what current sales are happening in order to take advantage of them.

The Nintendo Switch is still a new console, having entered its 7th month of release, so it is to be expected that the ‘Games on Sale’ section is mostly barren for now except for a handful of titles in display, but with the Holiday season fast approaching, it is conceivable that the list will be increasing somewhat soon.

There are still many things that need to be fixed with the eShop, but this is one step in the right direction.
