The beloved rocket car soccer game, Rocket League, launched yesterday on Nintendo Switch. It has been hit with critical acclaim for years, and the Switch port is nothing short of fantastic.
The game runs just like you’d expect while docked, and the handheld version runs at a resolution less than 720p. However the game stumbles into quite a few bugs, one especially affecting the split-screen component. To play local split screen, both players must have an associated Nintendo Account. Most players would much rather host with a guest account, but they are working on a patch to add this in.
The Community Manager went to Reddit to assure players that they are working actively to iron out these issues. Glad to know that they care for Switch owners.
