Takashi Mochizuki from the Wall Street Journal reported through his Twitter account that Macquarie, an analyst firm is predicting that the Nintendo Switch will sell approximately 7.5 million units between the months of October and December. This is slightly higher than Ace Research Institute’s prediction of 7 million units sold during the same time.

Macquarie is the same company that last year successfully reported Nintendo’s window to officially reveal the Switch console known as NX at the time.  Do you think it is possible for Nintendo to sell that many systems during the Holiday season?
